How to prepare for your Kobido Session?
No special preparation is needed - wear comfortable clothing, remove all the jewelry, and avoid heavy makeup or skincare products. Less preparation & make-up = longer massage :)
How long does a Kobido Massage last?
I offer Kobido Rituals that last 75 minutes — giving your skin and nervous system the time they need to fully reset and rejuvenate.
You also have the option to extend your experience with personalised, holistic add-ons before or after the message (such as natural peeling or nourishing mask, stress release practices or wellness coaching, sound healing or guided relaxation - see more under ‘treatments & prices’). These treatments range from extra 15 to 60 minutes and can be tailored to your needs — for deeper restoration, emotional balance, and inner glow.
Is Kobido suitable for everyone? Are there any precautions?
Kobido is very gentle and safe for most people, but there are a few precautions. Avoid Kobido if you have a fever or contagious illness, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or any active skin infection (cold sores, rash, severe acne or rosacea). It’s also not done during pregnancy or immediately after cosmetic injections (depending on the treatment, I usually recommend waiting several weeks after Botox, fillers, etc.).
What should I do after a Kobido facial massage? - Kobido facial aftercare tips
After Kobido, simple self-care is best. Drink plenty of water to help flush out any released toxins, avoid makeup for a few hours and only apply a gentle moisturizer or serum to hydrate your skin. Because circulation has been boosted, it’s wise to wear sunscreen if you’re going outside. Other than that, you’re free to relax and bask in your glow.
